For almost five decades Rotair Aerospace Corporation (RAC), a well-established 50 year-old manufacturer located in Bridgeport, CT has manufactured high quality helicopter components ranging from the simple to critical safety items.
RAC is currently seeking a General Manager to work closely with senior management, government agencies and customers.
RAC is a family-owned, small business and candidates must be available to work in our Bridgeport, CT office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
Federal Aviation Administration (ACO, MIDO & FSDO) Coordinator/Liaison FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) Submissions & follow through Oversight of AS9100 / ISO 9001 Compliance - Manage Quality Manuals Audit Preparation & Management Empowered Export Control Officer / Export/Import Compliance / Manage Export Compliance Manual Manage Shipping & Receiving and Related Processes and Procedures Manage Inventory/Materials and Related Processes and Procedures Other General Management Tasks and Responsibilities Experience in both the Aerospace and Manufacturing industries are required along with a background in management and strong leadership skills and/or finance.
Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Windows 10, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 & Teams.
