Logistics Coordinator (Flexjet Vertical)

Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the AAG Aircraft Maintenance Department in support of all support requirements.
They will handle the purchases, invoicing, tracking of supplies, storage, and transportation processes of various aerospace components and tooling in support of these programs.
Once the supplies are ready for distribution, the Logistics Coordinator will perform an initial quality check of all items received and notify the Quality Manager or their Representative.
The Logistics Coordinator will review and monitor the timely delivery of all material to ensure it arrives on time.
If there are any shipment or inventory issues, the Logistics Coordinator will offer solutions and recommendations for addressing and resolving them.
The Logistics Coordinator with report directly to the Logistics Director.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Handle supplies and materials for aerospace program activities Coordinate with various suppliers to order and obtain supplies and materials Coordinate with the maintenance department to coordinate various training and events Track supplies and materials through delivery and distribution Organize supplies and materials and safely store supplies and materials; maintain an inventory and the location of supplies and materials Develop and maintain a database of delivery and pick up locations; monitor stock minimums, schedule, and coordinate inbound and outbound material to ensure logistical process run smoothly and prevent any late return penalties.
Ensure the packing of material for delivery to various locations the movement of supplies and materials Prepare purchasing requests and verify correct invoicing upon receipt of items Make recommendations that involve how best to move supplies and materials through the process to run effective maintenance schedules Maintain accurate records; various databases (spreadsheets) Participate in other tasks and duties as delegated and assigned OTHER SKILLS AND

Demonstrate focused attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time-sensitive situations Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload to meet deadlines Ability to respond to and resolve complaints and problems Ability to correspond with customers; including notifying customers is delivery is delayed Good time management skills Experience working with electronic data computer savvy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to be a team player and collaborate with others Must maintain confidentiality Ability to work some evenings and weekends when requested
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) Associate degree or equivalent.
Experience in managing supplies, storage, deliveries, and inventory.
Must have a valid State Driver's License Excellent communication and soft skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with team and community/customers.
Ability to work well within deadlines on multiple and varied tasks simultaneously.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
