Immediate permanent need for Assistant Production Manager, with fast growing company located in Bridgeport, CT. This new hire will work with the production manager to fulfill responsibilities in manufacturing as well as scheduling and all aspects of production. Diverse, team-oriented environment helps this company thrive!!! Hours are 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. This position is ideal for a candidate with previous production experience looking to move into a leadership role.
- Plan production in accordance with manufacturing schedule
- Responsible for efficient and precise manufacture of all products - granulation and blending
- Stage and weigh ingredients for production as per batch record provided
- Ensure use of appropriate lots of raw materials in production, as dictated by the production batch record
- Follow proper hygiene and safety codes as per written procedures
- Assume production manager duties as necessary
- Perform quality control analytical tests as necessary
Working hours: 1st Shift
Ideal Candidate should:
-have at least 2 years of college
-have prior GMP experience following strict GMP guidelines
-experience with clean operations
-be mechanically inclined
-have GREAT work ethic and team attitude
- good math skills
