Senior Application Analyst

Job Description 1. Job Responsibilities o This position is responsible for installation, maintenance and continued support of application systems. o This position devises or modifies procedures to solve application systems issues, by taking computer equipment, capacity, limitations, network, databases, application and desired results into account. o Utilizes knowledge and experience to confer with user representatives and vendors to gain an understanding of necessary changes to system. o Participate in the Project Life Cycle (PLC) of application systems from inception to production support. o Participate with business, system architecture, infrastructure and other groups in evaluating solutions to support various business areas. o Support business applications to facilitate the efficient and effective operations of the business areas. o Develop system specifications, test, implementation, system support and other PLC artifacts as required. o Install system software and perform system integration testing. o Participate and consult in user acceptance testing. o Develop system support documentation for operations. o Provide expert level support to operations to trouble shoot and work through production issues. o Participate with application system vendors and document the vendor's system roadmap. Job Requirements o College degree or equivalent work experience required. o Over 3 years relevant experience in application support area for a large organization. o Programming, application system, operating system certifications are a plus. Behavioral/Technical Skills: o Knowledge of Application systems like web and client server applications o Knowledge of desktop and application server operating systems (Windows-2012, 2106, UNIX and Linux), SQL databases (2012, 2017), web-based systems, telecommunications, middleware, imaging systems, reporting systems and scheduling systems. o Excellent written and verbal skills are needed to communicate effectively and clearly with a broad range of employees and stakeholders. o Ability to work with team and learn new skills. o Analytical skills to determine system issues and fixes. o Knowledge of programming techniques (Java, .net, C) and computer systems. o Knowledge of Cloud environments (AWS, Azure) o Experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Visio and DevOps tools. o Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines. o Experience in supporting banking applications is a plus. 12810BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
