) We are currently seeking Registered Nurses with 3 to 5 years experience for our Assisted Living unit/Memory Care unit.
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, energetic with strong attention to detail.
JOB SPECIFIC:
Coordinate and manage all nursing and assisted living aide services Supervise and direct nursing personnel and assisted living aides in the delivery of nursing services and the provision of activities of daily living.
Participate in developing standards of care, policies and procedures concerning nursing services and the provision of assistance and activities of daily living.
Conduct performance evaluations for nursing personnel Develop standards of care Implement and enforce Watermark Policies and Procedures, including implementation of Quality Improvement initiatives Participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation and in-service education of associates for ALSA program for the Inn, Gardens and Town Center.
Recruit and select associates for ALSA program for The Inn, The Gardens and Town Center (Independent Living) Provide and coordinate training, including new hire orientation and on-going in-service education, for nursing personnel Participate in program planning, budgeting and evaluating activities related to clinical services in the Inn, The Gardens and Town Center (Independent Living)Ensure that all local, state and federal regulations are continuously metPerform initial and on-going health assessment for new residents for The Inn, The Gardens and Town Center (Independent Living)Establish and maintain resident service records in accordance with state regulations.
Provide resident health and wellness education.
Supervise medication administration services in accordance with state regulations.
Provide weekly and monthly reports to the ALSA Director in accordance with state regulations.
Participate in Watermark University.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
Consult with physicians, nurses, social workers, discharge planners and other disciplines to establish a coordinated home plan of care.
