Where can you find a high-performance car that can keep up with the best supercars of it's day for just a fraction of the price? The TR6 featured a four-speed manual transmission, all synchromesh, and close gearing for aggressive driving.
She also offered a semi-trailing arm, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15-inch wheels and tires, pile carpet on floors and trunk/boot, bucket seats, and a full complement of instrumentation.
Remember we're talking about the days when side mirrors and windshield wipers were options! Braking was accomplished via disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, and a rear anti-roll bar and a limited-slip differential were available if you wanted to get fancy.
