Vehicle Description In 1982, Buick introduced the Grand National to celebrate their wins of the Winston Manufacturers Cup and what began as a limited run of 100 cars to celebrate their victories became a mainstay of the Buick brand through the 1980s.
Something about the Grand National captured the essence of American automotive culture throughout the 1980s.
In 1987 when this Grand National was produced, Buick had created a swan song for the Buick Muscle Car, a working mans supercar, with huge amounts of usable torque and a 14 second quarter mile time right off the dealership lot.
Driving this car is a nostalgic experience and it brings the driver back to a simpler time of cars, when passion and competition lead automotive design not safety features and fuel economy.
This particular 1987 Buick Grand National has been well maintained and cared for by a committed owner.
