Vehicle Description 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL Convertible Mercedes Benz, as many of you know, launched the flagship 560SL at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1985.
It was sold alongside the 500SL with minor exterior changes, improved front-wheel suspension, and new ABS vented disc rotors.
Under the hood is a 5.
6L V8 engine which was the most powerful engine Mercedes offered at the time.
The European version without the emissions controls that the US required put out a whopping 275hp, this may not sound like a lot of power for a car in today's world but for those days that was fairly impressive.
