CF39969LO In the late 70s, the TR6 was equivalent to the modern-day Corvette.

It also offered a semi-trailing arm, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15-inch wheels and tires, pile carpet on floors and trunk/boot, bucket seats, and a full complement of instrumentation.
Remember we're talking about the days when side mirrors and windshield wipers were options! Braking was accomplished via disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, and a rear anti-roll bar and a limited-slip differential were available if you wanted to get fancy.
